This event has been cancelled Unlock your true potential at Rusch Academy’s holistic, human-performance gravel cycling camp. Together we go beyond epic endurance days in the saddle and bridge the gap between training the body and training the mind. World champion athlete, Rebecca Rusch, gravel cycling Hall of Famers Yuri Hauswald and Jay Petervary, and certified mindfulness teacher/cyclist Dave Jones, our team of human performance specialists, will expose you to integrative techniques to elevate your health, happiness, and cycling skills. We will coach, push, and empower you on riding skills, training, equipment, nutrition, pacing, breathing, mindset, nervous system attunement, focusing skills, somatic awareness, and mindfulness. You will complete this adventure with a new understanding of the mind/body/spirit relationship, tools to develop your own integrated training practices, and the ability to unlock a new level of health and performance. 2024 is SBG’s 20th year Wildflower Walks! Join us walking slowly on nearby moderate to easy trails as we appreciate the blooming native plants of our area. Walks will be led by botanists, naturalists, birders, and wildflower enthusiasts. Meet at Sawtooth Botanical Garden (11 Gimlet Road, 4 miles south of Ketchum), and follow each other or carpool to the trailhead. Children under 14 are welcome with an adult. No dogs please! Bring clothing for possible weather, hiking shoes (no flip fops or dress shoes), sun protection, plenty of water, reusable water bottle and a lunch. A camera, field guide, binoculars and notebook may help with identifying and remembering plants. Bald Mountain is opening for lift assisted hiking and scenic rides on Friday, June 21st for the summer season! The Gondola and Chirstmas Chair will be open for hiking and scenic access only on June 21st. Lift assisted mountain biking will open on Monday, July 1st. Summer lift tickets and season passes will be on sale soon!
This summer, enjoy free yoga at River Run Plaza presented by the Brass Ranch. All levels are welcome to these free one-hour classes held outdoors at River Run Plaza Saturdays throughout the summer. On July 4th, help us leave a legacy of smiles, Wood River Valley! This 5k will be supporting our local non-profit, Dental Legacy Foundation. You can run or walk! Please wear a white shirt and sunglasses! Each racer will be given a race bib and a cup of paint to throw at the start line. The race will start at 8:30 am. Please show up early to pick up your bib and check in before the race starts. Depending on the number of signups there may be heats.
