Roberta McKercher ParkThe 2023 Hailey Market is on Saturday mornings from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm. The Hailey market will remain in it’s wonderful location- the front of Roberta McKercher Park (Main Street on the south end of town, between 3rd and 4th Avenue)! Enjoy some live music and ready to eat foods. Customers are encouraged to bring their own bags and market baskets. This market is continuing to accept EBT and offer the Double Bucks program- please see the Wood River Ranch Beef trailer for more information. BATHROOM FACILITIES ARE VERY LIMITED. Its goal is simple: get the world moving. BODYTRAFFIC has performed for sold-out audiences at prestigious theaters and festivals around the world, in more than 30 American states and 20 countries. A forward-thinking Company, BODYTRAFFIC is not one driven by a single choreographic voice. It’s an incubator for new voices and continues to move the needle of what dance can and cannot be – elevating it beyond an art form to a way of thinking, being, and doing. As the wrongly accused and suffering wife of Shakespeare's tragic Moor, Othello, Desdemona has long been viewed as the "victim of circumstance." But as Paula Vogel demonstrates in her comic deconstruction of Shakespeare's play - aligning tongue-in-cheek humor while raising serious questions as to the role of women through the ages - Desdemona was far from the quivering naif we've all come to know. Children’s Summer Meals: Volunteer to prepare!
The Hunger CoalitionThe Hunger Coalition and The Community Library provide free meals, books and enrichment activities to children throughout the Wood River Valley during summer. Join us in meal preparation; we're serving anywhere from 100 to 200 meals a day! We chef it up Mondays and Wednesday mornings, through August 24.
