Various Locations“Ski for Air Service Day Returns on January 21 with $60 Lift Tickets at Sun Valley” A highly anticipated annual event for skiers and riders is back, as Fly Sun Valley Alliance (FSVA) and the Sun Valley Resort team up once again to present Ski for Air Service Day by offering a full-day $60 lift ticket for skiing at Sun Valley, on either Baldy or Dollar, on Sunday, January 21, 2024. All proceeds from Ski for Air Service Day will support air service at Sun Valley’s Friedman Memorial Airport (SUN). A limited number of the discounted $60 (plus tax) Ski for Air Service Day lift tickets will be available for sale in advance, from January 8 through January 20, and this year the tickets will be available for purchase online via www.flysunvalleyalliance.com/ski-for-air-day/ No $60 lift tickets will be sold on January 21 and lift ticket purchases are not refundable. 12th Annual Empty Bowls to benefit Blaine County Charitable Fund
Big Wood School/ Church of the Big WoodJoin us for the 12th annual Empty Bowls Event on Sunday, January 21st. Blaine County Charitable Fund, Boulder Mountain Clayworks and the Church of the Big Wood are hosting the annual Empty Bowls event January 21st from 11:30 am – 2 pm at the Church of the Big Wood. Previously hosted and benefiting the Hunger Coalition, the fundraiser was handed over to the Blaine County Charitable Fund. Purchase a handmade bowl for $25 and fill with generous helpings of soup, chili, salad, bread and dessert from local chefs.

Neighborly Spanish Returns!
Hailey Town Center WestNeighborly Spanish is a free, 8-week class taught on Mondays from noon-1:30 PM by retired local Spanish teacher Jim King. The class will offer basic Spanish language skills seasoned with a little history and culture. Enrollment limited to 20. Classes are on Mondays, starting January 22 through March 18. 2024 Wood River Trail Challenge
Wood River TrailThis complimentary event is a wonderful opportunity for community members to engage in a healthy and enjoyable outdoor activity this winter. The Challenge is set to run from January 26 through February 23, welcoming everyone who enjoys skiing, walking, snowshoeing, or fatbiking. Participants can complete the full 32 kilometers of the Wood River Trail, either in one go or in sections over a four-week period. By participating, not only will individuals get to experience the beautiful Wood River Trail, but they will also receive a prize from BCRD and enter a drawing for a chance to win a free 2024/25 BCRD Nordic season pass.
