Hailey Town Center West“Learn to Knit” a free, 4-part class taught by master knitter and Sun Valley Needle Arts owner Patricia Lirk is back! The series will focus on the basics and conclude with a personal project. Classes will be held at the Hailey Public Library located at 7 West Croy on Tuesdays from 5:30-7:00 PM, starting February 6. After the Avalanche: CPR
Ketchum Fire StationAn avalanche has happened and you’ve been able to successfully dig out your partner? Now what? The After the Avalanche series classes focus on different aspects of patient care following an avalanche. The final class will be a Heartsaver CPR class. The American Heart Association (AHA) Heartsaver Certification is designed to teach the basics for those who want to learn how to help save a life. The certification covers proper body mechanics, the elements that make a good chest compression, and how to use an AED. The class will take place at 5:30 pm at the Ketchum Fire Station on Thursday, February 29. Embodied Meditation & Movement
Zenergy Health Club and SpaThese 4-session class series will support us getting more grounded, centered and embodied. Approached collaboratively, we’ll combine a series of meditation techniques using energy and visualization with light stretching and breath work movements to awaken connection to and movement from your core (on many levels!). We invite interaction as we explore awareness and mind-body connection. Benefits include increased relaxation and tools for mental, emotional, and physical wellbeing. Maximum of 10 participants.
