Each year SVGA hosts multiple gallery walks (exhibition openings for all SVGA galleries), which are eagerly anticipated and free to the public. Locals and visitors alike take in thought-provoking exhibitions of newly installed art, enjoy wine, mingle with friends, and often meet the artists. Join us and local artist Jill Lear on our opening night for Pulp Reality: Exploring Paper as a Medium. This group show has works by Jill Lear, Peter Clark, Jeri Eisenberg, and Joanne Freeman. Paper is a distinctive medium in these artist's practice, from collage to encaustic coated photographs printed on Japanese Kozo paper.

Inglés conversacional con el tutor Leonardo Padilla Sacha es los viernes de 6:00 a 7:30 PM. Neighborly Spanish

The Hailey Public Library is launching Neighborly Spanish, a free 6-week class taught on Mondays by retired local teacher Jim King. Lunch & Learn: Under the Surface – Hemingway Short Stories

Hailey Public Library’s is delighted to host a three-part series highlighting three of Ernest Hemingway’s short stories with local scholar Ted Dyer. Dyer will look under the surface to examine three thematically linked Nick Adams short stories: Indian Camp, The Battler, and Big Two-Hearted River.
