Learn about the many fascinating snakes of our area when the Hailey Public Library hosts Dr. Charles R. Peterson, an Emeritus Professor of Zoology at Idaho State University and Affiliate Curator of Herpetology for the Idaho Museum of Natural History. Using place-based photography, Dr. Peterson will share his appreciation of snakes and why their conservation is so important. He will bring a live Great Basin Rattlesnake. His talk accompanies an exhibit by the same name recently installed on the library’s Mallory Wall. Held from 5:30-7:00 PM on Friday, October 11, at Town Center West, 116 S River.
