It seems like it was the beginning of April just yesterday, and now here we are in the first week of May! It’s been a crazy time to be a small business – especially when you’re in the business of capturing everyday life and celebrations. But despite the tough bits, it’s also been a blessing in a lot of ways. I’ve gotten to spend more time with my family. I’ve organized, cleaned, and prepped my studio in anticipation of brighter days. I’ve had time to reflect and appreciate all of the small moments that add up to this big wonderful life. Which started me thinking – our lives don’t stop just because of past “normal” stops. Kids are still learning to ride bikes, spring-time gardening is still underway, swing sets are getting more use than ever – family life is still full of so much, well life!
All that being said, I’m going to begin offering “Stay at Home” sessions. Whether it’s the kids playing in the front yard, the whole family enjoying a board game on the patio, side-walk chalk masterpieces in the driveway, or any of the other myriad of activities we’ve all been up to lately. I want to help capture the memories of this piece of life.
