Fun, Free, Informative Bike Safety Activities for the Whole Family Mark your calendars for the 13th annual Bike Rodeo, presented by the Ketchum Police Department in Partnership with Higher Ground. The event takes place Saturday, June 1 from 11:00 AM-1:00 PM at the YMCA South Parking Lot. Activities include rider safety and obstacle courses; bike decorating, safety checks, and helmet fittings; and snacks and prizes. Activities include: free rider safety course; free bike safety check by area bike shops; free helmet fitting (free helmets available to anyone who needs one); bike decorating; Ketchum Police obstacle course; and free prizes and healthy snacks. The Climbing Film Tour is back for it’s 4th season with an awesome selection of short films celebrating the global climbing community. Film trailer at: www.climbingfilmtour.com This year’s tour features the exclusive world premiere of TRANSCENDENCE which tells the story of professional cyclist, Adrien Costa, who turns to climbing after suffering a life changing accident. Join world champion climber Liv Sanso, on an adventure in Jordan's Wadi-Rum desert in IF IT'S EASY, IT'S NOT FUN. Follow Australian Olympian, Lucy Stirling, as she takes on new challenges in the Australian Blue Mountains. Plus rock climbing, bouldering and slacklining from the USA, France, Australia and more. The Climbing Film Tour is a unique platform for climbers and filmmakers around the world to share their stories with the community. Each year films are submitted and selected by our Vertical Life climbing team to go on tour with screenings in hundreds of gyms, cinemas and other locations around the world.
