For the past 48 years, friends, families, and community members have gathered each fall to celebrate SVSEF’s impact on the youth of the Wood River Valley, to imagine the possibilities for the season ahead, and to support SVSEF's Athlete Financial Aid Program through the Wild Game Dinner. The funds raised during the Wild Game Dinner directly support SVSEF's mission to provide exceptional snowsport programs, and specifically, their ability to grant more than $500,000 annually in financial aid to athletes across all ages and all programs. What SVSEF does is bigger than sport—SVSEF helps build good humans and stewards of the mountains. SVSEF inspires efforts to protect the places we play, train, and compete in. They focus on supporting each athlete to not only reach their own athletic potential, but also develop strong personal character through good sportsmanship, strong values, and individual goals.
