Co-owners and married couple, Candice Shubin and Bruce Pugh, have had a love for dirt and dogs as long as they can remember. After leaving The Valley in 2006, Candice headed to San Francisco to find a job in Corporate America. Instead, she found her partner in GRIME! In 2013, the two headed back to K-town to renovate her family’s building in the Light Industrial area on Lewis Street and decided to “clean-up” a little more than the building. As owner of Alpine General Contracting, Bruce was able to transform the Shubin Property Centre as well as bring to fruition Candice’s dream of having canines be a daily part of her life.
