Since 1958, the City of Ketchum has celebrated its mining history with one of the largest non-motorized parades in the West. Come spend the weekend with the whole family and watch the Big Hitch Parade on Saturday at 1 p.m., featuring quality buggies, carriages, carts, and stagecoaches. It is one of the largest non-motorized parades in the Pacific Northwest.

The Ore Wagon Museum serves as the Wagon Days headquarters. There, you’ll find all event information, maps, and merchandise, and you can explore Ketchum’s mining heritage with displays that showcase the town’s past, including an opportunity to get up close to the massive Lewis Ore Wagons. The Ore Wagon Museum is located at 500 East Avenue in Ketchum, and it will be open daily at the end of August, 11 a.m.–6 p.m.

• The parade starts at 1 pm at the Sun Valley Horseman Center on Sun Valley Road, winding north on Main Street in Ketchum.
• Reserve Seats: A limited number of reserved bleacher seats are also available for a fee. Seats may be reserved online at wagondays.com/reserved-seat-2026 or at the Ore Wagon Museum (500 East Avenue), which will be open daily, 11 a.m. to 6 p.m., starting in late August.
