Understanding Christian Nationalism and How It’s Shaping Idaho and U.S. Politics

Heath Druzin Christian Nationalism 740×426

A conversation with Heath Druzin, award-winning journalist and host of the podcast “Extremely American” from Boise State Public Radio and NPR.

With firsthand experience covering extremism and politics across the U.S., Druzin will dive into the growing influence of Christian nationalism, how political extremism is shaping our democracy, the effects on civil discourse—both in Idaho and nationwide, and strategies for engaging in productive dialogue in polarized times. The program will be moderated by Martha Williams, director of programs and education at The Community Library.

In partnership with Idaho Solutions, Mormon Women for Ethical Government – Idaho Chapter, Boise State Public Radio, St. Thomas Episcopal Church, the Wood River Jewish Community, and Wood River Valley members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.

Registration recommended to join us in person. To watch online (no registration needed), visit https://vimeo.com/event/5565259. The recording will be available to watch later on The Community Library’s Event Archive.
