Beyond Blaine: Connecting Statewide Realities to Local Life

Spur Program Beyond Blaine 740×426

How do policies and prevailing priorities across the state influence life in the Wood River Valley? In a rural recreation-driven community like ours, it’s easy to feel somewhat insulated from the broader policies, experiences, and influences shaping Idaho. But state-wide issues and policy decisions have a significant and often underrecognized impact on our daily lives. Join us to explore what’s happening across Idaho and to gain a deeper understanding of how our community fits into the broader fabric of the state.

This panel brings together leaders from across Idaho to explore how happenings across the state shape life here in Blaine County. From education and conservation to the arts and community services, join us for a conversation about the connections between state realities and local impact and an opportunity to ask questions, share concerns, and deepen your understanding of the broader forces shaping our community. In partnership with the Spur Community Foundation. Registration recommended to join us in person.
