Celebrate Earth Day on Wednesday, April 22 by joining Blaine County Recreation District’s (BCRD) annual Earth Day Cleanup. BCRD invites community members, families, and local groups to help care for the Wood River Trail by picking up trash along this well-loved community corridor.
Community participation plays an important role in keeping our trails clean, safe, and welcoming for everyone. Getting involved is simple. Bring a bag, invite family, friends or coworkers, and spend time outside helping care for a place we all share.
Participants can throw away collected trash in trailhead trash cans. Groups interested in organizing a cleanup effort can connect with BCRD’s Ashley Knox at aknox@bcrd.org for support with planning, supplies, and coordination.
This Earth Day, take part in a small effort that makes a lasting difference. Your time and care help protect the Wood River Trail and ensure it remains a valued resource for the entire community.
