AI User Group

event-193262-1772925774

This AI User Group meeting is an informal, bring‑your‑own‑laptop gathering for Wood River Valley residents who are already experimenting with—or actively using—artificial intelligence tools in their work, learning, or creative projects.

Whether you’ve been dabbling with ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Copilot, Perplexity, or any of the other AI assistants that have exploded onto the scene, or are exploring ways to automate tasks and workflows with modern AI tools, this is a chance to compare notes, pick up practical techniques, and learn from your neighbors. No coding background is required.

This session will mix demonstration with open discussion, covering everything from smart prompting strategies to some of the most powerful — and least understood — tools available today, including (but not limited to!) Google’s NotebookLM, Claude in Chrome, Claude in Excel, Cowork + Code, and other emerging agentic workflows that can automate real tasks.

The goal is straightforward: help everyone in the room become more capable and confident with the AI tools that are rapidly reshaping how we work, learn, and create.

The group is organized by Steve Broback, a Ketchum-area resident who has spent years at the forefront of technology and ideas conferences and who works hands-on with these tools daily. Bring your laptop, bring your questions, and bring whatever you’ve discovered that’s blown your mind lately.
