Cinco de Mayo – Let’s Dance!
The ArgyrosThe vibrant and pulsating energy of Cinco de Mayo comes alive at the Argyros in Ketchum. The celebration begins at 8p with DJ Juidos. We will have two live bands, Los Rivera and Noches de Reve starting at 9pm. Los Rivera will play an amazing set of Sierreño, Upbeat versions of great classic ranchera songs. You will be dancing nonstop. Noches de Reve will play a mix of Cumbia, Merengue, Bachata, Rock and Latin Pop that will transcend generations. In between live performances, the dynamic and one and only Los Juidos will keep the party going with every rhythm and beat you can imagine. This Cinco de Mayo celebration is not merely an event but a jubilant fusion of heritage, music, and community, where the spirit of Mexican culture reverberates through every note and every dance step.

Barcelona Flamenco Ballet • CARMEN
The ArgyrosBarcelona Flamenco Ballet address the ever-present myth of “Carmen” in their new project. This new recreation of Bizet’s work brings new elements from flamenco that were previously unknown. It goes beyond the traditional conception in which it has historically been categorized and adapts it to the reality of today’s contemporary society. “Carmen” is pain, passion, and a cry for freedom - feelings that flamenco art masterfully represents in its wildest and most primitive aspect. Barcelona Flamenco Ballet tells the story written by Prosper Mérimée delving into the love affair between Carmen, the gypsy, and Escamillo, the bullfighter. Here, too, the flamenco language is the best vehicle of artistic expression to exhibit emotions and is the perfect driving force to convey the passion of the protagonists.

A singer, writer, and producer, she is constantly touring across the globe with a diverse repertoire. Adrienne Haan will be presenting two different programs of music on June 28th and July 2nd. On June 28, Adrienne Haan will be performing Cabaret Français, which she presented as part of the French night En Français, s’il vous plaît during the United Nations General Assembly in September of 2022 as a tribute to the French Chanson for which Haan received the Manhattan Bistro Award in 2018.

Sawtooth Rangers Rodeo: July 2 - 4 Rodeo is a proud tradition in the West and in Hailey the Sawtooth Rangers have held an exciting professional rodeo, featuring some of the best riders and stock in the country, over the 4th of July every year since 1947. In 2011 the City of Hailey invested over $3 million to build a new state-of-the-art rodeo arena and grounds at the entrance to the city at Werthheimer Park to play host to the Sawtooth Rangers Rodeo as well as other events throughout the year. A singer, writer, and producer, she is constantly touring across the globe with a diverse repertoire. Adrienne Haan will be presenting two different programs of music on June 28th and July 2nd. On July 2, Adrienne Haan will focus on the works of Kurt Weill starting in Berlin in the 1920s and 30s. Featuring his famous songs of the Weimar years to the time he spent in exile in Paris highlighting some of his less known, but glorious, French oeuvres, as well as his Broadway successes during the 1940s, Haan presents this soirée as a musical voyage. Portraying Weill’s opuses in their original language, character, and length, this show highlights Haan’s fantastic skills as an actress, her brilliant singing voice, her extraordinary vocal range, and her skill and execution of multiple music styles.

Paco Versailles
The ArgyrosPaco Versailles is a collaboration between guitarist/composer Vahagni and songwriter/producer Ryan Merchant (Capital Cities). Their sound is a mix of flamenco guitar rhythms with disco-leaning electronic production and captivating vocals - a new genre they call Dancemenco. The name “Paco Versailles” was conceived while imagining a collaboration between their biggest influences, the legendary Spanish guitarist Paco De Lucia and French electronic artists Daft Punk and Air, both products of the Parisian suburb of Versailles.

BODYTRAFFIC
The ArgyrosBODYTRAFFIC returns to the Argyros with an all new program including the Sun Valley premiere of I Forgot The Start by acclaimed choreographer Matthew Neenan. This inspired piece was created while in residency at The Argyros last summer. "Neenan dives into such complexities with utter sincerity, then adds touches of whimsy that cohere into a resonant work...I Forgot The Start songs by Sinéad O’Connor, Ozzie Kotani and Daniel Ho, and Sufjan Stevens that—like the dance itself—convey a sensory meditation on disconnection, connection, and perseverance." Melissa Strong, Broad Street Review Additional repertory includes The Act Of Becoming, an energetic homage to Maurice Ravel’s iconic Boléro by Fernando Hernando Magadan, and Bloquea’o by BODYTRAFFIC’s own Joan Rodriguez, with original music by Pedro Osuna that blends traditional Cuban rhythms and live percussion accompaniment by Ricky Matute.
