Our summer season includes original ice shows highlighting new stars, impressive athletic routines and fresh sounds. Sun Valley on Ice features medal-winning headline skaters and our talented Sun Valley on Ice cast. Grandstand seating is close to the action and offers an exciting experience for guests. WORKSHOP: Handmade Artist Books WITH ANGELA BATCHELOR
SVMoA Hailey ClassroomOver the course of two days, participants will explore paper decoration and mixed media to create two handmade artist books. Day One: Create a “Letter Book” that serves as a time capsule to reflect on future goals. Day Two: Create a “Map Book” that looks at past personal experiences. Clear instructions, handouts and demonstrations will give participants the skills and tools to make unique artists books on their own. Students will leave with two unique finished projects. THIS 2-DAY WORKSHOP TAKES PLACE SAT & SUN, JULY 27 & 28, FROM 10AM–2PM DAILY AT THE HAILEY CLASSROOM. ABOUT THE INSTRUCTOR Angela Batchelor comes from an academic background with bachelor’s and master’s degrees in fine arts. She is currently an Associate Professor of Art at the College of Southern Idaho in Twin Falls and teaches courses in Painting, Art History, Book Arts, Printmaking and Calligraphy. She maintains an active studio practice with work that meanders between expressive mark-making and mixed media pieces, including prints, calligraphy pieces and artist books that focus on religious, social, and scientific themes. $160 member, $200 nonmembers

Forest Service ParkThe Market: A gathering to celebrate summer in Ketchum | Sun Valley, Idaho, with friends and family, music and food, and unique handcrafted & vintage goods. Renowned Chef's Britt Rescigno & Kinsey Leodler will attend The Market. The Market will kick off on Friday, July 26, in the evening with a “sneak peek” of makers, and continue on Saturday, July 27, and Sunday, July 28th, with music all weekend by local DJs, food and libations available. The main focus throughout the weekend is the maker or seller of vintage goods, and local chefs. Our aim to bring together some of the best Independent Makers, vintage collectors, chefs and to provide a fun and memorable weekend. Sun Valley PavilionThe Sun Valley Music Festival proudly announces its landmark 40th-anniversary season, from July 29 to August 22, at the Sun Valley Pavilion. Curated by Music Director Alasdair Neale, the 2024 summer season will feature the all-star Festival Orchestra — which comprises the finest musicians from orchestras throughout North America — performing with a stellar lineup of world-renowned guest artists that includes violinist Leonidas Kavakos, pianists Stephen Hough and Garrick Ohlsson, soprano Meechot Marrero, and cellist Jeffrey Zeigler. To celebrate 40 years of free classical music concerts, the 2024 Summer Season includes two world premieres commissioned by the Festival: a cello concerto by the Pulitzer Prize finalist and multi-Grammy-nominated composer Andy Akiho, performed by former Kronos Quartet cellist Jeffrey Zeigler; and a season-opening fanfare by Timothy Higgins, Principal Trombone of the San Francisco Symphony. Stephanie Childress returns as Associate Conductor to lead several performances, including Mozart’s Symphony No. 36 (Linz), Wagner’s Ride of the Valkyries, and Rossini’s William Tell overture. Wood River ValleyWe are excited to invite you to join the local Wood River Valley chapter of the reGEN Film Club. reGEN Media is the first and only Indigenous-owned and female-led regenerative media studio and their North American film club program uses films to enrich and strengthen local communities. reGEN Film Club is a series of curated films that will give you an opportunity to watch, digest, and discuss films through the lens of different perspectives. Expect to meet or deepen your relationship to both the film and Club community through these 75-minute discussions. Think of it like a book club, but for movies! Discover hidden indie film gems and hear perspectives and commentaries from our brilliant reGEN filmmakers who will expand your minds and hearts as you investigate your own perspectives and experiences of the films in your comunity. Hemmings GalleryEzra Siegel has spent over thirty years exploring forms, shapes and paint surfaces to create something that is both simple and complex. His paintings are both empty and full, ordered yet improvised. With multiple layers of washes and thin paint, Siegel's work is full of nuanced color and tone. His work suggests a minimalist approach but exhibits a human touch in the hope that the viewer can experience beauty through imperfection and subtlety. Olympian Statue Unveiling- Kaitlyn Farrington 2014 SOCHI
Festival MeadowJoin the Idaho Women's Athletic Foundation, and local community members for the unveiling of the most recent bronze statue at Festival Meadows , Sun Valley. Created by the nationally recognized artist, Ben Victor, this statue will represent the pride, talent, and athleticism of Bellevue local, Kaitlyn Farrington. Farrington pulled off the biggest achievement of her career to date when she beat the three previous Olympic champions to win the women’s snowboard halfpipe gold at Sochi 2014. Tuesday, July 30th from 2pm-4pm the IWAF will hold a brief reception with complimentary snacks and beverages to celebrate the athletic achievements of Kaitlyn Farrington. This statue is just the next installment of many in the organizations project to memorialize and celebrate all the athletic talent that has spawned from this small community. CONCERT: Lake Street Dive—Good Together Tour 2024
River Run LodgeSun Valley Museum of Art (SVMoA) is proud to announce a blockbuster concert for summer: Lake Street Dive’s “Good Together Tour” will come to Ketchum’s River Run Lodge on Tuesday, July 30, at 7 p.m. With tens of millions of streams, an acclaimed discography including seven celebrated studio LPs, two EPs, a slew of much-loved singles, and an enduring worldwide fanbase to their credit, Lake Street Dive has become a dynamic and exhilarating force in popular music. The band features vocalist Rachael Price, bassist/background vocalist Bridget Kearney, drummer/background vocalist Mike Calabrese, keyboardist/vocalist Akie Bermiss and guitarist/background vocalist James Cornelison. Sun Valley Museum of Art has been bringing together Wood River Valley music fans at summer concerts since the 1970s, with over 100,000 attendees. SVMoA’s concerts have been held at Trail Creek (Buddy Guy, Blues Traveler); the Sun Valley Pavilion (the Avett Brothers, Lord Huron and Bonnie Raitt); and River Run Lodge (Lyle Lovett, Chris Isaak, Jackson Browne, James Taylor & Carole King, Wilco and Michael Franti). Over the past 40 years, the Museum has been proud to share this country’s greatest performers with the community and will continue the tradition this summer.
