Hailey Public Library is partnering with the Climate Action Coalition and local experts to host a free fix-it clinic on Saturday, January 27, from Noon – 4:00 PM for small, carry-in-sized household items. Half-hour appointments set up on-site will offer guided assistance with volunteer coaches to help disassemble, troubleshoot, and, hopefully, fix personal items. The clinic will be held at Town Center West, 116 S River.

An open gathering of acoustic musicians of many levels coming together to play traditional tunes of the Celtic, Canadian, Western and many other genres. This is a free community event hosted by a volunteer. Everyone is encouraged to suggest a tune and to play along as they wish. Listeners are welcome, too! We welcome and seek to include all interested people regardless of age, background, economic resources, or ability. Join the Friends of the Sawtooth Avalanche Center instructors for a field day covering avalanche rescue basics, snowpack layering, avalanche terrain identification, and basic backcountry travel. Please note- you need to have attended a Friends’ Introduction to Avalanches presentation prior to participating in the field day. Join us for a complimentary Bald Mountain Tour, offered every Monday, Wednesday & Friday throughout the winter season. Tours meet at 9:30am in the Mountain View Room at River Run Lodge and are guided by one of the friendly members of our Mountain Guest Services team (yellow coats). They will guide you around Bald Mountain’s vast terrain, share where the best skiing and riding is and wow you with some amazing historical facts about Sun Valley. Tours are open for all ski levels.
