Bald MountainSun Valley's only snowboard specific event. Celebrating 12 years! This year the BBS will be a ONE DAY event. Format: Friday, practice and registration party. Saturday: best of two runs. Your time from your second run will not be visible until the awards cerimony. Results: Run times can be viewed in real-time by downloading the Its Your Race Phone App Sponsors: Fat Tire, Traeger Grills, Idarado Media, YETI, Patagonia, Sun Valley Resort, Smith Optics, Board Bin, MTN Approach, Olympia Provisions. Entry fee includes event tee shirt from Press Print House. Saturday, March 2nd: 8 – 9 am – Registration at Warm Springs Base Lodge (waver signature and bib pick-up) 9 -10 am – Practice - top of Warm Springs lift. 10am - Race starts. 3pm - Awards ceremony at TBD location Lift Tickets: Discounted $64 event ticket is available only to registered racers. All racers MUST have a valid lift ticket/season pass.

Carol's Dollar Mountain LodgeFun, Free Downhill Race for Kids! Started by the original founders back in 1957, this fun ski and snow board event is for non-sanctioned racers ages 3 to 12. It is held at Sun Valley’s Dollar Mountain in the spring, usually in March. The event attracts up to 250 skiers who all earn commemorative pins. The Olympic gold medal winner Picabo Street was a Kindercup champion! Other famous Sun Valley area skiers to have been past Kindercup champions include: Langely McNeal, Graham Watanabe, Wyatt Caldwell and more! TSA Pre-Check® enrollment event at Friedmal Memorial Airport
Friedman Memorial AirportFriedman Memorial Airport (KSUN) will be hosting a TSA PreCheck® enrollment event in collaboration with IDEMIA, a TSA PreCheck® authorized enrollment provider. Travelers will be able to enroll at the TSA pop-up enrollment center located in the airport’s south terminal lounge area, 1616 Airport Cir., Hailey Idaho. The enrollment event runs from Monday, March 4 through Friday, March 8. Daily hours are 9 a.m. to noon and 1 – 5 p.m. The program is open to U.S. citizens, U.S. nationals and lawful permanent residents. The enrollment process is quick, convenient and even faster when the application is completed online beforehand. The in-person enrollment requires that applicants provide proof of identity, proof of citizenship, fingerprints and a photo . IDEMIA offers TSA PreCheck enrollment for $78 and if approved, travelers get a five-year membership with the program. Bald Mountain Tours
River Run LodgeJoin us for a complimentary Bald Mountain Tour, offered every Monday, Wednesday & Friday throughout the winter season. Tours meet at 9:30am in the Mountain View Room at River Run Lodge and are guided by one of the friendly members of our Mountain Guest Services team (yellow coats). They will guide you around Bald Mountain’s vast terrain, share where the best skiing and riding is and wow you with some amazing historical facts about Sun Valley. Tours are open for all ski levels.
Neighborly Spanish Returns!
Hailey Town Center WestNeighborly Spanish is a free, 8-week class taught on Mondays from noon-1:30 PM by retired local Spanish teacher Jim King. The class will offer basic Spanish language skills seasoned with a little history and culture. Enrollment limited to 20. Classes are on Mondays, starting January 22 through March 18.
