Friedman Memorial Airport

Friedman Memorial Airport (KSUN) will be hosting a TSA PreCheck® enrollment event in collaboration with IDEMIA, a TSA PreCheck® authorized enrollment provider. Travelers will be able to enroll at the TSA pop-up enrollment center located in the airport’s south terminal lounge area, 1616 Airport Cir., Hailey Idaho.  The enrollment event runs from Monday, March 4 through Friday, March 8. Daily hours are 9 a.m. to noon and 1 – 5 p.m. The program is open to U.S. citizens, U.S. nationals and lawful permanent residents. The enrollment process is quick, convenient and even faster when the application is completed online beforehand. The in-person enrollment requires that applicants provide proof of identity, proof of citizenship, fingerprints and a photo . Big Wood School's Creative and Crafty Kids present our Annual "Inspire Your Heart With Art" Gallery Walk! Our school hallways will be transformed into the most exclusive display of unique and one-of-a-kind masterpieces created by the young, talented artists of Big Wood School. Join us for refreshments and a chance to mix and mingle with the artists themselves. Monday evening will be the Grand Opening for the Fans and Families of our Sharks, Wolves, Ladybugs, Butterflies and Little Llamas. Tuesday evening will be reserved for Followers and Friends of our Chickadees, Kind Cats, Tiny Turtles, and Chipmunks. Ribbon Cuttings at 4:30pm SHARP.

Bring your own needles and yarn, and join master knitter and Sun Valley Needle Arts owner Patricia Lirk for a bi-monthly gathering. Come learn to knit, ask questions and solve knitting mysteries, and meet others. Meeting in the green chairs by the fireplace. First and third Monday through May. Drop-in. All skill levels welcome.

The Hunger Coalition

March 4th 6:00-7:00 Cafe at 110 Honeysuckle Street, Bellevue A conversation about food sourcing and how it impacts global food insecurity. We will be discussing how individuals can take action through gardening. Join is for our Ski with a Ranger tours on Bald Mountain every Tuesday and Thursday this winter season. A Forest Service ranger meets interested guests at the Bald Mountain Map near Sun Valley’s Lookout Restaurant. The tour lasts a pleasant hour while skiing the mountain making three stops for the ranger to give his talk. Topics covered include a wealth of interesting information about local history, geography, geology, the Bald Mountain Stewardship program, expansion plans and local public lands.
