Starting at 10 am, this is a fun perimeter ski tour around the Galena trails (approximately 25 km). Beer and doughnuts may occur at random along the course. Costumes encouraged! Free! No registration necessary

Bald Mountain Tours
River Run LodgeJoin us for a complimentary Bald Mountain Tour, offered every Monday, Wednesday & Friday throughout the winter season. Tours meet at 9:30am in the Mountain View Room at River Run Lodge and are guided by one of the friendly members of our Mountain Guest Services team (yellow coats). They will guide you around Bald Mountain’s vast terrain, share where the best skiing and riding is and wow you with some amazing historical facts about Sun Valley. Tours are open for all ski levels.
Neighborly Spanish Returns!
Hailey Town Center WestNeighborly Spanish is a free, 8-week class taught on Mondays from noon-1:30 PM by retired local Spanish teacher Jim King. The class will offer basic Spanish language skills seasoned with a little history and culture. Enrollment limited to 20. Classes are on Mondays, starting January 22 through March 18. Pre-registration required by emailing kristin.fletcher@haileypubliclibrary.org. Town Center West.

Bald MountainJoin is for our Ski with a Ranger tours on Bald Mountain every Tuesday and Thursday this winter season. A Forest Service ranger meets interested guests at the Bald Mountain Map near Sun Valley’s Lookout Restaurant. The tour lasts a pleasant hour while skiing the mountain making three stops for the ranger to give his talk. Topics covered include a wealth of interesting information about local history, geography, geology, the Bald Mountain Stewardship program, expansion plans and local public lands.

FILM & TALK: Idaho’s Hidden Gems on Idaho Experience—Teater’s Knoll
Sun Valley Museum of ArtHenry Whiting & Brent Hale in conversation with Idaho Public Television Producers Andy Lawless & Forrest Burger. The newest episode of Idaho Public Television’s Idaho Experience features the only Frank Lloyd Wright structure in Idaho, Teater’s Knoll. Located in Bliss, Idaho, Teater’s Knoll was commissioned as a studio and home by the painter Archie Teater and his wife Patricia in 1952. Join SVMoA for a screening of a program on Teater’s Knoll and early Idaho photographer Clarence Bisbee that IdahoPTV is calling “Idaho’s Hidden Gems.” Following the screening, Henry Whiting, who owns and lives in Teater’s Knoll and has overseen two extensive restoration projects on the building, will join Brent Hale, son of stonemason Kent Hale, who completed much of the studio’s meticulous stonework, in a conversation moderated by Idaho Public Television.
