Learn to fly cast, or brush up on your double haul technique with one of our fun and experienced guides. These casting clinics are for anyone who is curious or just a little rusty. Clinics will run Tuesday through Saturday at the Sun Valley Resort from 5:00 pm to 6:00 pm throughout the summer. Equipment will be provided, but feel free to bring your own. Alumni) SHOW DESCRIPTION: Epoxy Resin Nightmare is a nonlinear play (or fever dream) about girlhood and generational curses in the gothic deserts of Southern Idaho. A mother and daughter sharing time, space, and god, connect through themes of sexuality, bodily preservation, and big stinkin' white lilies. Annabel Webster's first play at The Spot asks you to wish for a savior but believe in the carnage of women everlasting. Chef Halvorsen has curated a menu that will take your taste buds on a delightful journey through the vibrant and aromatic cuisine of Thailand with Goong Pao (chili-Thai basil prawns on skewers), Gai Phad Kratiem Prik Thai (garlic pepper chicken served with steamed sticky rice), Yum Makrua Yao (grilled eggplant salad with lime dressing with beef and mint), Khanom Jean Gaeng Keow Wan Pla, (green curry Idaho trout with rice vermicelli and cucumber salad) and a dessert of grilled pineapple with rum sauce accompanied by coconut ice cream and coconut sticky rice.
Get your zen on at 9,150 feet during our mountaintop gentle flow yoga classes at Lookout Lodge! Focus on an exploration of basic yoga poses and how to connect them through attention to breathing, alignment and mindfulness. Therapeutic in nature, you will learn techniques to help gain flexibility, strength and balance while immersing yourself in a relaxing class that moves at a perfectly slower pace allowing ample time to enjoy each pose. All levels are welcome. The Hunger Coalition and The Community Library provide free meals, books and enrichment activities to children throughout the Wood River Valley during summer. Join us in meal preparation; we're serving anywhere from 100 to 200 meals a day! We chef it up Mondays and Wednesday mornings, through August 24. Visit our website to reserve your volunteer time today! Time slots are 8:30am - 11am and 10am to 12:30pm, on both Mondays and Wednesdays.
