Showcasing six outstanding private landscapes in north valley neighborhoods, this always popular curation of cultivation is not to be missed. Grab your parasol, floppy hat, and breezy garden strolling attire and enjoy the fruits of these passionate gardeners as they open their lovely landscapes for our viewing pleasure. Tickets are $35/$40 for SBG members/non members and ticket prices increase by $5 on Thursday, July 25. ***Please note: your name will be placed on a roster, nothing will be mailed to you. Your physical ticket is a special bandana that you'll be able to pick up at the Sawtooth Botanical Garden two weeks prior to the event or the day of at the first garden you visit. The Big Hitch Parade

Since 1958, the City of Ketchum has been commemorating its mining heritage with an impressive non-motorized parade, which has grown to become the largest of its kind in the western region. It's a perfect opportunity to spend a delightful day with your entire family. The renowned Big Hitch Parade kicks off on Saturday at 1 p.m. The Big Hitch Parade showcases an array of exquisite buggies, carriages, carts, and stagecoaches, all exemplifying exceptional craftsmanship. Parade route: The procession commences at 1 p.m., embarking from Sun Valley Road and gracefully winding its way north on Main Street. The grand spectacle of the event, as it has always been, will be the awe-inspiring "Big Hitch." This special attraction features historic Lewis Ore Wagons, magnificently pulled by a remarkable 20-mule team all the way from Bishop, CA, skillfully maneuvering them through a jerkline formation. Historic Hailey Walking Tour

To help celebrate the Trailing of the Sheep Festival, the Hailey Public Library has invited local author and historian Rob Lonning to lead a free, 90-minute walking tour through parts of Old Hailey. Participants should meet on the Library’s west patio, ready to leave at 11:00 AM on Saturday, September 28. The tour will include the Hiawatha Hotel, Assay Office, Masonic Lodge, historic churches and more.
