Against the beautiful backdrop of the Sun Valley Lodge, the Sun Valley Figure Skating Club helps to assure that Sun Valley will long be home to world-class figure skating.  The club takes pride in its show skating tradition, promoting skating fun through parties, shows and other activities while applauding its coaches’ drive to produce all levels of talented  skaters.

Figure skating, whether on a local or national level, whether for competition or just practice and fun, instills confidence in kids. It teaches them to balance time,life obligations,school,sport, all while maintaining discipline and sportsmanship. The Sun Valley Figure Skating Club offers affordable “Fabulous Fridays Skate-With-Us” classes for beginners.

The club also holds 2 annual competitions, the Sun Valley Winter Games in February and celebrating it’s 48th annual Sun Valley Summer Championships July 24-27, 2014.  This events brings 200 skaters from 10 different states to the valley.  It holds several USFS testing sessions each year and it’s annual fundraiser, “Battle of the Blades” is a local favorite.  For more information on club events please contact us at 208-622-8020 or we are on the web at:www.sunvalleyfsc.org.
