What is 5B Kids Fund?
5B Kids Fund (formerly Papoose Club) is dedicated to giving the youth of Blaine County the strongest start possible. We’re a team of passionate local volunteers raising money and granting funds directly to nonprofits, organizations, and schools right here at home. These partners provide essential mental health services, educational programs, sports opportunities, and after-school arts—supporting kids exactly where they need it most.
The group started in 1954 as the Papoose Club, received 501(c)(3) status in 1975, and continues with its work today. 5B Kids Fund meets monthly, approximately 10 times per year, to hear grant requests and award funds. Our main fundraisers are the Wagon Days Pancake Breakfast, the Holiday Bazaar, and the Plant Extravaganza at Webb. Our free events for the community include the Nordic Cup in February and the Kindercup in March.
What is the purpose of the organization?
5B Kids Fund’s mission is to support cultural, social, educational and athletic activities of Blaine County youth. Our grant funds are built through several fundraising events and the generous support of sponsors and donors. In addition to providing financial support through our grants, we host a number of community youth events at no cost to the participants.
