From it’s homebase at the Community Campus in Hailey, Idaho, the BCRD’s offers many different camp options for kids to enjoy when school’s out! BCRD Day Camp is a recreation-based program offered to rising 1st through 6th graders that runs Monday through Friday all summer long. In age appropriate groups, campers will participate in sports, outdoor adventures, swimming, biking, cooperative games, and STEAM-based projects in an encouraging and friendly environment.
Field trips are also offered every Friday throughout the summer and are filled with hiking, fishing, swimming and exploring. Children will venture to places such as 1,000 Springs Resort, Craters of the Moon, Redfish Lake and others to experience all our region has to offer.
The auditorium at the Community Campus provides a perfect setting for the BCRD’s Theater Camp which meets 4 days a week for one month in the summer. Kids have the opportunity to express themselves, make new friends and learn about theater in this program that culminates in a live performance for friends and family.
