TSA Pre-Check® enrollment event at Friedmal Memorial Airport
Friedman Memorial Airport (KSUN) will be hosting a TSA PreCheck® enrollment event in collaboration with IDEMIA, a TSA PreCheck® authorized enrollment provider. Travelers will be able to enroll at the TSA pop-up enrollment center located in the airport’s south terminal lounge area, 1616 Airport Cir., Hailey Idaho. The enrollment event runs from Monday, March 4 through Friday, March 8. Daily hours are 9 a.m. to noon and 1 – 5 p.m. The program is open to U.S. citizens, U.S. nationals and lawful permanent residents. The enrollment process is quick, convenient and even faster when the application is completed online beforehand. The in-person enrollment requires that applicants provide proof of identity, proof of citizenship, fingerprints and a photo . IDEMIA offers TSA PreCheck enrollment for $78 and if approved, travelers get a five-year membership with the program. Skiing and S’mores at Quigley Trails Park
Blaine County Recreation District is hosting a free evening of Nordic skiing and s’mores at Quigley Trails Park in Hailey on Friday, February 23 from 5:00 to 7:00 PM. This family-friendly event will feature a campfire with free hot chocolate, s’mores, and beer. The community is invited to bring their Nordic skis and enjoy a moonlit glide on Quigley Trails Park’s groomed ski trails. During this event, a Nordic pass is not required to ski. Participants are encouraged to bring a headlamp or flashlight if the night is cloudy, as the trails are not lit. To foster a welcoming environment for all, we recommend that dogs are left safely at home during this community event.
