Join us this summer for Summer Maker Space, a free, drop-in art studio for families, where creativity spills from the classroom onto the lawn. Each week features fresh, hands-on art projects designed for all ages—no registration needed, just stop by and make something!
Expect projects like:
-Nature printmaking and naturally-dyed fabric art
-Paint-your-own kites and playful wind toys
-Large-scale outdoor cardboard cities and other collaborative creations
-Sculpture-building with found, natural, and unexpected materials
-Sensory Stations with clay, water-based paints, and sand—perfect for messy, tactile exploration
-A Relax & Sketch area with clipboards and drawing boards to capture the trees, mountains, and sky
We provide the supplies—you bring the imagination (and maybe wear clothes you don’t mind turning into a masterpiece).
there’s always something new to discover!
Summer in the Makerspace takes place from 1–4pm.
