Project Description: The Pollinator Meadow is a part of a pollinator initiative that started three years ago to address a decline in pollinators and help restore the land to its native habitat at the Colorado Gulch Preserve. The Land Trust asked WRTC to help put in a trail to allow visitors and the expanding habitat to flourish by encouraging visitors to see the project and stay on the trail to allow the native habitat to spread throughout the meadow. This is the beginning phase of a future universal design trail that connects to the Hailey Greenway which will allow further access to the rest of our community.

We are continuing to scratch in a new trail.

We will meet at the trailhead and go over safety, get PPE, walk to the project zone and get started!

What to bring/wear: Closed toe shoes and pants will be required. We recommend bringing your own eye protection/sunglasses, work gloves and sunscreen. A small pack is nice to have for water, layers and a snack.

What we will provide: Tools, required PPE available for use: Hard hats, eye protection, gloves etc.

RSVP: Yes please! Below!

Directions: From Hailey – head south on Broadford .0.5 take a right on Red Feather Way (it is a loop, either access will get you to the trailhead). There is a trailhead with parking for 4 cars and a parking available on the side of the road.
