The 5B Suicide Prevention Alliance presents a free documentary film screening to spread hope and fight suicide. When a suicide attempt left 16 year-old varsity cheerleader, Emma Benoit, paralized, it also propelled her on a mission to use her painful experience to help others find hope and stay alive. The film also highlights the stories of two remarkable young people who tragically did not survive their attempts and audiences will learn about the devastating effects of suicide and what can be done to prevent it.
The screening will be followed by a Q&A session with Emma Benoit and a special panel of community resources. In person and virtual options. Contact Tammy at 208-720-7160 for more info.
Get tickets to attend in person by calling 208-788-0735. Registration for the virtual option can be found online at thecrisishotline.org.
