The Wood River Chapter of the Idaho Native Plant Society has invited back by popular demand long-time gardener and horticulturist Mindy Rider to discuss “Landscaping with Natives – An Introduction to Using Native Plants in Your Home Landscape.” Rider is owner of High Desert Roots, a new plant business celebrating the native and adapted plants of Idaho’s high desert climate, and co-manages Drinkers of the Wind Farm, a regenerative and agroforestry farm in Bellevue, Idaho. The free talk will be held at 6:00 pm on Thursday, March 27, at Emmanuel Episcopal Church, 101 2nd Avenue, in Hailey.
