Join the Friends of the Sawtooth Avalanche Center instructors for a field day covering avalanche rescue basics, snowpack layering, avalanche terrain identification, and basic backcountry travel. This is specifically designed for motorized users.

The field day will take place at Baker Creek.

There is a connected lecture the previous Wednesday (January 11) at the Community Campus in Hailey that is required to attend the field day.
