Vote on your favorite batch of chili in the Hailey Fire Department's annual Chili Cook off! Play, create, discover, and have fun! Afternoon Art is a free drop-in opportunity for community members of all ages to explore concepts from the Museum's current exhibition and create works of art. Families and friends are encouraged to communicate, reflect, and produce as artists together. Perfect for art lovers, curious minds, and anyone seeking inspiration. Projects will vary. Age & Ability: all ages, families encouraged to attend together Ketchum Afternoon Art runs from 1:30–4:30pm at the Sun Valley Museum of Art. Afternoon Art is offered in Ketchum on the first Friday of each month and in Hailey on the second Friday from 1:30-4:30pm and are recommended for families with children of all ages. Courageous Kids Climbing – Ketchum

Hailey Halloween Hoopla

The annual Halloween Hoopla is on Thursday, Oct. 31 from 3:30 – 5:30 p.m., kids in costumes will roam Hailey’s Main Street and participating businesses will give out candy! Look for the orange and black balloons. The Kiwanis of Wood River Valley will be hosting a costume contest at Hailey Town Square! Thank you to Jane’s Artifacts and Hailey Grocery Outlet for helping sponsor this fun community event!

Trick-or-Treat on Main Street Ketchum … & Beyond!

Ghouls & Goblins Gather! Join us in the first annual “Trick-or-Treat on Main Street…& Beyond" in downtown Ketchum. This FREE and family friendly event will take place on HALLOWEEN from 4:00pm-7:00pm. Festive trick-or-treaters will venture up, down , and around downtown Ketchum visiting local businesses as they pass out candy. Starting at Whiskey’s on Main, guests will be given a list of participating businesses to visit. Whiskey’s will be serving festive “adult “ beverages, from their mobile bar accompanied by games and activities. Spread Holiday cheer with Santa and his reindeer for the annual Ketchum Tree Lighting. Festivities include free treats and hot chocolate (and hot toddies for purchase); Christmas carolers; real, live reindeer; a grand entrance by Santa; photo opportunities; firepits; and Holiday lighting (of course!). Don't forget your wish lists and letters for Santa. Mailboxes to the North Pole will be at Ketchum Town Square (on the stage) and City Hall (near the entrance) during the event and through Christmas. Santa will surely write you back—be sure to include a return address! 4:30 | Event begins 5 PM | Tree lighting
