This year is no different. With R.L. Rowsey & Lila Claghorn at the helm, we are excited to bring love and laughter through song and comedy to our ever steady audience. While our field might be a little bit different this year, as we are performing in Festival Meadows, we are still excited to have an at-home-Reinheimer-feeling of summer-stock with the simplistic nature of focusing on the art. Since 1958, the City of Ketchum has celebrated its mining history with one of the largest non-motorized parades in the west. Come spend the weekend with the whole family and watch the Big Hitch Parade on Saturday at 1 p.m. The Big Hitch Parade, featuring quality buggies, carriages, carts and stagecoaches, is one of the largest non-motorized parades in the Pacific Northwest. The grand finale, as always, is the “Big Hitch,” the historic Lewis Ore Wagons pulled by a 20-mule jerkline. Join ceramic artist George Rodriguez in the creation of a Día de los Muertos community altar. In these workshops, we will be making offerings out of clay that symbolize our present community, ancestors and future hopes. George will demonstrate how to make small portraits, alebrijes and flowers with wet clay utilizing several building techniques. You will also have the opportunity to decorate a tile to be added to the exterior of the altar. All ages are welcome at this fun creation event. We will provide materials and tools — join us to add your story to the community altar. This workshop will take place on Thu, Sep 22 from 3–5pm and will be taught in both English and Spanish.

This performance will look at 5 of the more than 600 endangered animal species in the US that are either threatened or on the brink of extinction due to habitat loss, poaching, climate change and other factors that eliminate species living around us across the US. The 17 company dancers will use the genres of ballet, modern, jazz, tap and hip hop for our message of conservation and education.
