Curated events featuring five tellers who develop and shape their stories with The Moth directors. Moth stories are true, as remembered by the storyteller and always told live. Beyond theater, The Moth Mainstage is a community where entertainment and enlightenment merge.

Idaho Conservation League is pleased to present Science Pub as a fun way to bring educators, scientists, presenters, and the public together. Come on out, grab a beer, and hear about Idaho’s wild salmon and steelhead with Mitch Cutter, ICL’s Salmon and Steelhead Associate. Please join us as we host a conversation about the status of our iconic fish, what’s driving them toward extinction, and how we can restore them to abundance. We’ll talk about energy and transportation infrastructure, Tribal justice, and the opportunity we have now to change the course of the Northwest and make all communities whole. No RSVP or scientific background is required. Just bring your curiosity, sense of humor, and appetite for drinks and knowledge. Elephant’s Perch will be hosting a Sip & Shop from 5:00 pm – 6:00 pm, immediately ahead of Science Pub!

Join your local libraries for the closing of the 2023 Winter Read, featuring keynote speaker Kali Fajardo-Anstine, author and National Book Award Finalist. Her debut story collection, and this year’s community read, “Sabrina & Corina,” made waves in the literary community for its honest, provocative look at life in the American West for women of Latina and Indigenous descent. The stories serve as powerful meditations on friendships, identity, mothers and daughters, and the deep-rooted truths of our homelands. Register online, as space is limited. The event will also be streamed on Vimeo. The Winter Read is an annual collaboration between The Community Library in Ketchum, Hailey Public Library, Bellevue Public Library, and the Stanley Community Library. Events are held January-March. San Jose Taiko was founded in 1973 as only the third such group to form outside of Japan. They are recognized as pioneers in contemporary Taiko and have been instrumental to the growth of the art form, helping to nurture an ecosystem that now supports more than 500 groups spread throughout North America. San Jose Taiko teaches, performs, and expands the Taiko art form.
