“Moses and Kitch stand around on the corner—talking smack, passing the time, and
hoping that maybe today will be different. As they dream of their promised land, a
stranger wanders into their space with his own agenda and derails their plans.
Emotional and lyrical, Pass Over crafts everyday profanities into poetic and humorous
riffs, exposing the unquestionable human spirit of young men stuck in a cycle that they
are desperately trying to escape.
A provocative riff on the Book of Exodus and Waiting for Godot, Pass Over is a
remarkable work of politically-charged theater by a bold new American voice.”
There have been several landmark productions of Pass Over since its premiere. The Spot is
proud to share that we will be producing the newest version of the play, revised in 2021 to offer
a different ending to this cycle of violence and injustice– one of hope.

PASS OVER is suitable for adults and recommended for audiences 14+ due to strong
language, violence, mature themes and brief nudity.

THE ARGYROS (LOBBY / BOX OFFICE) opens about 30 minutes before curtain.
Concessions are available pre-show. There is no intermission. There will be no late
seating.

*become a Pass Over Producer and attend special Producer’s Night reception and
performance on 10/19. This ticket is tax-deductible up to $100.
All sales are final. Tickets cannot be refunded, only exchanged for other available show
dates. In the event of a performance cancellation due to COVID-19 all ticket holders will
be given the option to donate their ticket, receive a one-time refund or exchange for
another performance.

We do not require proof of vaccination/negative test-results at this time.
If you are feeling unwell, we ask that you remain home. We do have medical exceptions

reimplement mask-wearing. If this occurs all patrons will be notified via email and masks
