 rizona. She was raised in secrecy by her clan’s medicine people so that s
 he could avoid the boarding schools and keep her culture alive. She is perh
 aps one of the only indigenous people left in North America who was raised 
 in the traditional way\, by traditional elders and still lives on her ances
 tral land.\\n\\nAfter years of seclusion\, she was eventually discovered an
 d taken to boarding school. She has used the experience as a way to underst
 and the modern world and to build a bridge between our cultures. Lupita spe
 aks about her life\, her relationship with the land\, plant medicine\, geol
 ogy\, boarding schools\, our relationships with one another\, and ultimatel
 y\, how to move forward together.\\n\\nAs a master storyteller\, she feels
