Curious about using native plants in your home garden but aren’t sure they’d fit in? Join the Wood River Chapter of the Idaho Native Plant Society for a free evening tour of beautiful, mature native plant gardens guided by Lynea Newcomer, Hunger Coalition’s Director of Strategic Initiatives. Meet at 6:00 PM, Wednesday, August 13, at the Coalition’s campus located at 110 Honeysuckle St. in Bellevue.
Learn how native plants bring year-round beauty to home landscapes, ensure less water use and support biodiversity, especially for pollinators and birds, and become part of the solution to many vexing environmental challenges. Local and regional resources for purchasing native plants that work well in our area will inspire planning for next year. We’ll finish up about 7 PM. Please, no dogs.
The INPS is a non-profit, statewide organization with over 600 members.
