SUMMARY:Community Workshop: Building Ofrendas with Alternative Photography
DESCRIPTION:Prepare for our October 24 Día de los Muertos celebration by c
 reating an ofrenda to honor loved ones and ancestors. Families and communit
 y members of all ages can build small altars using precut cardboard\, shoeb
 oxes\, and other art materials. No photograph is needed to take part. Come 
 create with us using color\, symbols\, words\, and other materials inspired
  by memory and the people we love.\\n\\nFor those who would like to incorpo
 rate a photograph\, we’ll also experiment with alternative photography pr
 ocesses to create images for your ofrenda. Participants can submit photogra
 phs in advance via email to Dianne Sánchez at dsanchez@svmoa.org\, or brin
 g a laser-printed photograph to the workshop.\\n\\nThe event takes place at
  Hailey Classroom from 1–4pm. Join us!\\n¡GRATIS! Ven a la hora que quie
 ras. ¡No necesitas inscribirte!\\n\\nPrepárate para nuestra celebración 
 del Día de los Muertos el 24 de octubre creando una ofrenda para honrar y 
 recordar a nuestros seres queridos y antepasados. Invitamos a familias y pe
 rsonas de todas las edades a crear pequeños altares con cartón precortado
 \, cajas de zapatos y otros materiales de arte. No necesitas traer una foto
 grafía para participar. Ven a crear con nosotros usando colores\, símbolo
