SUMMARY:Watercolor: Painting in Community
DESCRIPTION:Already have a strong watercolor painting practice? Interested 
 in sharing your work and getting feedback with other watercolor artists? Jo
 in artist Sue Johnston as she guides participants through the process of sh
 aring their work and ideas. This informal setting is a place to get feedbac
 k\, suggestions and tips on watercolor painting. Participants are welcome t
 o bring in projects that they are working on\, have finished or are just st
 arting. These afternoon sessions are a chance to get to know other watercol
 or artists and create a sense of community.\\n\\nSue Johnston is a local wa
 tercolor artist who has been painting\, teaching and exhibiting since 1998.
  Her work has been shown throughout the United States\, and her work is par
 t of the 2025 Idaho Watercolor Association traveling show. She is also a Ma
 ster Signature member of the California Watercolor Association. Watercolor 
 is her favorite medium to work in as she is excited by its brilliant colors
 \, fluidity and challenge. Learning from both her students and other artist
 s is an integral part of her artistic practice and serves to inform her tea
 ching as well as her own watercolor work. Sue’s philosophy is summed up i
 n the quote by Maya Angelou\, “You can’t use up creativity. The more yo
 u use\, the more you have.”\\n\\n18+\, prior watercolor painting experien
 ce suggested.
