DESCRIPTION:If you've been curious about what's been going on at Warm Sprin
 gs Preserve\, this tour is for you! Join our River Program Team\, Cory and 
 Ryan\, for a behind-the-scenes look at the Land Trust's restoration efforts
  in Ketchum! RSVPs are highly encouraged\, though drop-ins are welcome if s
 pace allows. This will be in an active construction zone\, and bringing a d
 og is not recommended.\\n\\nCome join the Wood River Land Trust on a projec
 t tour of the Warm Spring Preserve restoration project\, the largest river 
 restoration project that has occurred in the Big Wood River basin. It is a 
 great example of how we can reverse bad land use practices along streams an
 d rivers and restore aquatic and terrestrial habitat! Through partnering wi
 th the City of Ketchum we have reconnected 8 acres of floodplains\, constru
 cted 2\,000 feet of side channels\, created close to 40 large woody debris 
 jams and a 1 acre wetland. This is a multifaceted project and WRLT staff wi
 ll present the restoration techniques used to restore habitat\, the new irr
 igation system that will save 50 million gallons of water annually\, new re
 creational amenities\, and updated ADA access.
