SUMMARY:Bike to School and Work Day
DESCRIPTION:Blaine County Recreation District (BCRD) is excited to announce
  this year’s Bike to School and Work Day\, scheduled for Wednesday\, May 
 20. This free community event will take place along the Wood River Trail fr
 om 6:30 to 9:00 a.m.\, featuring more than 30 local sponsors offering snack
 s\, bike checks\, and other activities for participants.\\n\\nThis event hi
 ghlights bicycles as both a mode of transportation and a form of recreation
 \, encouraging people to ride to school\, work\, or other destinations in a
  healthy and active way. Participants can connect with local nonprofits and
  businesses while experiencing the community spirit found along the Wood Ri
 ver Trail.\\n\\nAdditionally\, from May 20 through May 26\, Blaine County R
 ecreation District\, Hailey Public Library\, and The Community Library will
  present StoryWalk® along the Wood River Trail. This family-friendly exper
 ience brings together time outdoors and reading\, with children’s books d
 isplayed page by page to enjoy while walking or biking. This year’s featu
 red titles are Elena Rides by Juana Medina\, located between Fox Acres Road
  and Myrtle Street in Hailey\, and Ride Beside Me by Lucy Knisley\, located
  between 6th Street and Wood River Drive in Ketchum. Both stories feature e
 ngaging illustrations and will be presented bilingually\, inviting readers 
 of all ages to follow along as they explore the trail.
