DESCRIPTION:Did you know that cockroaches can hold their breath for up to f
 orty minutes\, and can survive submerged in water for up to thirty minutes?
 ! Or that fleas can jump more than 100 times their own length! That’s lik
 e you jumping one to two football fields in length. WOW.\\n\\nIt’s time f
 or SBG’s annual Bug Zoo Festival! Pop over to the garden on May 16th from
  11am-2pm for lots of fun with hands-on educational activities in a festiva
 l atmosphere. There will be interactive exhibits\, live critters\, fun acti
 vities\, face painting\, Adopt a “Bug” animal adoptions with Mountain H
 umane\, food for sale and much more! Entrance tickets: adults $10\, youth 3
 -18 years $5\, and littles 0-3 years free.\\n\\nNote to educators: We invit
 e classes to the garden for scheduled educational tours May 12th-May 15th f
 rom 9am-2pm. Materials will be geared towards students pre-K-5 though all g
 rades are invited. The cost is $3/student with scholarships available for s
