DESCRIPTION:We're teaming up with Cox Charities to get the community involv
 ed in the largest river restoration project in the Big Wood River Basin\, a
 nd we want you involved! Enjoy a morning with the Wood River Land Trust tea
 m and get your hands in the dirt planting trees and other native vegetation
 \, all while becoming an active land steward.\\n\\nWarm Springs Preserve is
  a 65-acre protected open space in Ketchum where Warm Springs Creek winds t
 hrough a high-elevation valley at the base of Bald Mountain. Once a golf co
 urse and previously considered for development\, the landscape has been sha
 ped over time by both natural flooding and past land uses. Today\, Warm Spr
 ings Preserve is enjoyed year-round by dog walkers\, disc golfers\, Nordic 
 skiers\, and other outdoor enthusiasts. Guided by extensive community input
 \, a long-term vision for the Preserve focuses on restoring creek and habit
 at areas\, improving water-conscious landscaping\, expanding trails for wal
 king and winter recreation\, and creating welcoming spaces for informal gat
 herings. The preserve will remain dedicated to open space and community rec
 reation—development\, organized sports\, and private commercial events wi
 ll always be restricted.
