 h. "The Snake and the Whale" reveals the corrupt deals behind the dams' con
 struction and the subsequent campaigns to hide their role in this ongoing e
 cological disaster.\\n\\nAdditionally\, the dams have profoundly impacted a
  group of Killer Whales off the coast of Washington\, known as the Southern
  Resident Orca\, which rely on Snake River salmon as a primary food supply.
  These majestic creatures are now atop the Endangered Species list.\\n\\nTh
 e film exposes the propaganda and deceit propagated by the Army Corps of En
 gineers\, Bonneville Power Administration\, and certain members of Congress
  who falsely claim the dams are crucial for the regional economy and power 
 grid. "The Snake and the Whale" is not just an investigative documentary\; 
 it is a compelling narrative about the fight to preserve our environment ag
 ainst entities that prioritize profit for the few over ecologic sustainabil
 ity.\\n\\nDirector's Statement\\nOver the course of my career\, I have alwa
 ys chosen stories that help to give a voice to the voiceless and hold those
  in positions of power to account. The Snake and the Whale was an opportuni
 ty to give a voice to threatened and endangered fish and a group of Orca th
 at are on the endangered species list. By selecting experts to tell the maj
 ority of the story\, it becomes evident that an ecological disaster has bee
 n overlooked\, whitewashed and supported by a handful of corrupt and powerf
 ul government officials. I was determined to let nature speak and expose po
 liticians and bureaucracy responsible for an ongoing ecological crisis.
