SUMMARY:Mexican Folkloric Dance I (Spring 2026) Beginner Level
DESCRIPTION:This beginner level Mexican Folkloric Dance class is designed f
 or youth and teens with little to no prior folkloric dance experience. Thro
 ugh movement\, music\, and structured activities\, students will learn the 
 foundational elements of traditional Mexican folkloric dance in a supportiv
 e and culturally enriching environment.\\n\\nThe class focuses on building 
 coordination\, rhythm\, posture\, and basic steps\, with an introduction to
  zapateado (footwork) and skirt work. Instruction is offered primarily in S
 panish\, with English support as needed\, creating a bilingual and accessib
 le learning space for all students.\\n\\nThis class emphasizes skill develo
 pment and confidence-building. The primary goal is to establish a strong fo
 undation that allows students to advance to higher-level classes in future 
 sessions.\\n\\nBeginner Level. Age & ability: 10–16 years old.\\n\\nThis 
 workshop takes place every Tuesday from March 3-May 5 (except during Spring
  Break\, March 24)\, 9 sessions in total\, from 3-4pm.
