 tory. This program will highlight the history and national importance of th
 e USS IDAHO (SSN 799) and the origins of the U.S. Nuclear Navy\, a story th
 at began in Idahoâ€™s desert and helped shape Americaâ€™s global influence.
  With the USS IDAHO planned to launch this spring\, this conversation is bo
 th timely and relevant\, and aligns with SVPFâ€™s partnership with the U.S.
  Commission on America 250 to educate Idahoans about the stateâ€™s lasting 
 contributions to our nationâ€™s history.\\n\\nThe evening will feature a sc
 reening of Americaâ€™s Sagebrush Navy\, an Idaho Public Television document
 ary that tells the story of the Nuclear Navyâ€™s creation and the future US
 S IDAHO\, followed by a live conversation with historians and PBS documenta
 rians. Doors open at 4:30 pm\, the program begins at 5:00 pm\, and conclude
 s at 6:30 pm.\\n\\nThis Town Hall is presented in collaboration with the US
 S IDAHO Commissioning Committee\, which serves as Idahoâ€™s official agent 
 for commissioning activities and works to foster enduring connections betwe
