DESCRIPTION:Ketchum's annual Holiday Tree Lighting\, to be held on Wednesda
 y\, December 3\, from 4:30 PM to 6:30 PM in Ketchum Town Square (480 4th St
 reet East\, Ketchum).\\n\\nEvent highlights\\n\\n 	Letters to Santa: Beginn
 ing the day after Thanksgiving\, mailboxes to the North Pole will be set up
  by the Ketchum City Hall front door (191 5th Street West) and on the Ketch
 um Town Square stage for children to write and mail their letters directly 
 to Santa. Drop off your letters leading up to\, during\, or after the tree 
 lighting event.\\n 	Reindeer: Meet real\, live reindeer on site for a uniqu
 e holiday photo opportunity.\\n 	Holiday carols: Girl Scouts of Silver Sage
  will perform festive Holiday melodies.\\n 	Complimentary treats: Warm up w
 ith complimentary hot cocoa and delicious cookies\, courtesy of the City of
  Ketchum.\\n 	Adult beverages: For those 21 and over\, hot toddies and othe
 r adult beverages will be available for purchase.\\n 	Santa's grand entranc
 e: Santa Claus will arrive around 5:00 p.m. on a Ketchum Fire District fire
  truck\, ready to greet children\, take photos\, and hear their holiday wis
 hes.\\n 	Tree Lighting Ceremony: Following Santa’s arrival\, the tree lig
 hting will commence\, casting a warm glow over the town square. This year\,
  the centerpiece will be a special 25-foot-tall evergreen tree\, which will
  be placed on the north side of Town Square.\\n 	The Shoshone Project Cloth
 ing Drive: Starbucks is proudly partnering in this year’s Shoshone Proje
 ct clothing collection. Coats\, hats\, scarves\, gloves\, and blankets of a
 ll sizes are welcome. At the tree lighting event\, items can be dropped in 
 the bright orange bins located on stage and near the reindeer. You can also
  drop off clothing donations at Starbucks before and after the event. Finan
 cial donations can be made at shoshoneproject.org/donate.\\n\\nResidents\,
  visitors\, and revelers of all ages are encouraged to join in this Holiday
  tradition. Dress warmly and bring your holiday spirit!
