DESCRIPTION:Footlight Dance and Sun Valley Music Festival Music Institute s
 tudents will be spreading\\nholiday cheer bringing a performance to the WRH
 S Performing Arts Theater at the Community\\nCampus in Hailey\, on Saturday
 \, December 13\, 7:00 pm\, a free event. This annual collaborative event\\n
 will have the dancers and musicians performing together! “Both programs a
 re excited to bring the\\ntwo arts disciplines together to perform for our 
 3rd year. For the dancers\, we usually perform to pre-\\nrecorded music as 
 live musicians are an expense we cannot afford to add onto our production c
 osts\,\\nand for the musicians they rarely get the opportunity to play for 
 dance. The experience brings\\nchallenges and rewards for both as they lear
 n to pay closer attention to details from the conductor in\\nregard to temp
 o\, and the dancers must listen to the subtle differences of the final vers
 ion from\\nrecorded to live.”\\nThe production will include Footlight’s
  Intermediate Tap Class\, performing to a holiday classic\\nchoreographed b
 y Robyn Fox\, as well as the newly added Teen Jazz Class\, choreographed by
 \\nDirector\, Mackenzie King. The evening will conclude with a joy of the s
 eason\, a Nutcracker Medley to\\nbring delight into focus for all. The twel
 ve Footlight dancers performing are from our Intermediate 3/4\,\\nJunior Co
 mpany level. These dancers attend WRMS\, WRHS and SV Community School. The 
 piece\\nthey will perform has been choreographed by Hilarie Neely. The musi
 cians are part of the Sun Valley\\nMusic Festival Sinfonia Pops Orchestra a
 nd attend WRMS\, WRHS\, and Syringa Mountain School.
