SUMMARY:BCRD Youth Basketball Registration
DESCRIPTION:Blaine County Recreation District’s (BCRD) Youth Basketball l
 eague opens for registration on December 3 at 5:30pm. This popular program 
 emphasizes skill development\, sportsmanship\, and fun\, and is open to chi
 ldren in kindergarten through 6th grade.\\n\\nThe 2026 BCRD Youth Basketbal
 l season runs from January 26 to March 12. Players in kindergarten through 
 3rd grade will participate in 3-on-3 half-court games\, while 4th through 6
 th graders will compete in 5-on-5 full-court games. New this year\, all age
  groups will be separated into boys’ and girls’ divisions.\\n\\nYounger
  players (Kindergarten–3rd Grade) can choose to practice in Bellevue\, Ha
 iley\, or Ketchum. For older divisions (4th–6th Grade)\, practices will t
 ake place in Hailey or Ketchum. All games for every age group will be held 
 in Hailey. Families are encouraged to register early to guarantee their chi
 ld’s spot in this popular program.\\n\\nA registration fee of $85 include
 s instruction\, team jersey\, a participation award\, and tax. Scholarships
  are available to ensure every child has an opportunity to play.\\n\\nVolun
 teer coaches are vital to this community program\, and the registration fee
  is waived for coaches’ children. If you are interested in volunteering a
 s a head or assistant coach\, please contact us before registering your chi
